The Wine: Okay, so this is the bottom of every barrel and what Sitara bottles for our “house” wine. We call it “Ruffian” because that is Chente’s nickname back in London where he hails from, and Chente is the muscle behind Chateau Ruffian. He lifts every barrel and empties it for us. Lovingly, I might add.
Kind of wine colored.
Yummy. Smells like wine.

You’ll get the full gamut of fruit and spices. Expect a little opacity in this wine as it is unfiltered.
This wine is rustic, baby. Pair it with hearty homemade stews, crusty bread and sharp cheeses. Better served with friends.
